Glagah beach have very beautiful panorama. it's located in Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta. This beach is quite gentle and comfortable to play water. there are also a wide lagoon there. lagoon is perfect for people who afraid of the waves. The visitors can go around the lagoon by boat.
We went to Glagah beach the end of July 2011, the exact date is 31 and perfectly that is the moment "padusan". The journey begans from my boarding house in Babarsari, Sleman Yogyakarta at 1.30 pm. because we do not know where this beach we have to ask here and there used to be. Although it should go down a few times, we really enjoyed the trip.
Yapp. After 2 hour drive we arrived in Glagah Beach :). Very crowded at all. Maybe it because of coincides with padusan or indeed the beach was very attracted tourists. With a cheap entrance fee of IDR 3000 / person and IDR 1000 for motorcycles we can enjol the beauty of Glagah Beach.
Beside the sloping beach, go around the lagoon by boat , at this beach you can also find food stalls and restaurant so do not worry about starving :).
